CCRT Principles
Daniel Espinosa - Owner
Beginning his racing career after building his professional business career, Daniel completed High Speed Racing courses at the famous Porsche Racing Institute in Mountaingate, AL. Taking 1st place in the NASA 6 hour event on his very first season and third overall in 2019 was just the beginning. His rapid rise as a driver and now a team owner is a credit to the sport of GT Racing.
Having overcome the challenges Daniel faced as a new driver and winning races early on, he dreamed of building a team that could foster drivers like himself, a team that works seamlessly and safely bring out the very best performances from driver and the car. Now, Daniel’s dream team is realized by coupling his business acumen and racing experience with partner Tony Callas and the superior crew support of The Carrus Callas Race Team. Driven by his passion and commitment to racing, Daniel is building CCRTinto a recognizable, multi-faceted race team developing and introducing new talent into the sport.
With their three children now grown, Daniel and his wife Karin do field trials and derby runs with their champion Vizslas (sporting breed dogs) in Southern California.
Tony Callas - Qwner / Team Manager
The name Callas has been synonymous with Porsche racing for decades, beginning with Tony’s father in the 1970’s and 80’s racing in Texas. At the early age of ten, Tony began working alongside Dad, racing and servicing Porsches. His professional career in racing as a driver and as a Porsche technician includes an international racing legacy with Rock Racing, Seikel Motorsport. Championship racing, Peterson White-Lightening, and wins at 24 hours at Daytona and Le Mans where Tony was designated Mechanic of the Year for Porsche in 2001.

Tony began Callas Rennesport in 1992, which soon became Los Angeles’ premiere Porsche and BMW restoration center. Based in Torrance, Callas Rennesport services customers from across the country. Tony is well known for his technical knowledge, and proven successes. His commitment to excellence endures and his racing legacy continues with his leadership of the Carrus Callas Race Team, he helped build in 2019. He coaches, manages and is dedicated to the success and longevity of his new team and their contributions to the exciting legacy of GT Racing.

Nick Shanny - Driver
Nick is a retired software developer and entrepreneur with CarGurus and as a co-founder of TripAdvisor, working there on and off for almost 20 years. With a life-long passion for automobile racing Nick continues to realize his dream in 2024, racing both GT America powered by AWS and Pirelli GT4 America championships with Callus Race Team’s Chris Walsh. The highlight so far was his podium finish with Chris at COTA in the three hour endurance race, finishing in second place.

Claudia Rossini - Marketing Director
Joining CCRT after a career in branding, Claudia is meeting new challenges with a sharpfocus on the short and long term goals of the team. This includes getting the car graphics right, logo continuity, promotional and sponsorship materials and overseeing web and social media activities. The passion and thrill of racing, has won her heart and mind, thanks to the impressive teamwork of CCRT.

His goal has always been tocreate transformational brand strategies for his clients and to harness the collaborative power ofpeople around them. Alicia Riviere - Coordinator & Logistics
Raised in a racing family, Alicia learned early on how to navigate the moving parts of a team. Throughout her career in the banking industry, she managed a portfolio of (commercial, real estate and aircraft) loans and deposits. Ensuring that all T's were crossed and everything is where it needs to be at any given moment, is her unique talent. With CCRT back at the shop or on the track, she is vital to the success of this busy race team.
Marco Rodriguez - Crew Chief
Marco followed both his family into motorsports racing and builting racing chassis in S.America. Arriving in the US, he supported a Columbian driver for Indy Pro in 2000. Championship races include: Daytona two - 1st place wins in a DP Car; Sebring 12-hour - 1st place in Mercedes GT3; Indy Lite three Championships in Formula 3.
Ghandi Garcia - #1 On Car 20
Florida in 2016, he I joined TR3, a Ferrari racing team in 2017. His technical expertise was gained by working closely with highly team of professionals. Ghandi transitioned to DXDT running Mercedes The GT3s in the SRO series continued to expand his technical knowledge. He worked with API just prior to before Carrus Motorsports.

With 10 years at Porsche, Miguel honed his skills with high-performance vehicles. With a passion for pushing boundaries, his involvement with the Champcar team in 2016 marked a significant milestone in his racing career. He thrives in the fast-paced environment, where he continues to thrive in the continuing evolution of racing technologies.
Robbie Holly - Tires / Wheels
Robbie worked for Michelin Tire Co for 43 years in American LeMans and IMSA Series’, BFG Short Trade ASA Midwest Series. Pro Highlights Include: 07’ GT1 Championship; Risi Ferrari 2011 & 2012; ALMS P1 Prototype Championship Muscle Milk Picket Racing; 15 - 24 hrs of LeMans w/6 Podiums; 3 wins at 24 hrs Daytona with TRG.
